4. Writing: We read the story "The Name Jar" which was about a little girl who learned to love her name.  On the handout, write down the meaning and origin story of your name.

4. Finish the "All About Me" handout.  Write on an index card your motto.  Decorate your your index card.

5. Collect pictures or other items that you can use to decorate your ELA notebook.  Bring these items in a ziplock bag with your name on it.
